To expand our team, we are seeking a pipefitter with background in the petrochemical, natural gas, and natural gas liquids industries. Helping pipefitters configure, arrange, and install pipe is one of the job’s responsibilities. Other duties include being familiar with metallic elements, understanding pipe fittings, rivets, and valves, preparing pipe and fixtures for lifting and trying to rig, locating and marking metal flexing and cutting routes, cleaning the work area, and replenishing parts and equipment as needed.
Working on raised levels and maintaining your balance while standing on odd surfaces like beams and pipelines are additional skills required. You should be familiar with pipe systems, nuts, valves, and other related concepts. You should also have exposure to various metals and have read ISOs before.
